Purell 30-Day Challenge

I was so excited when I was asked by Mom It Forward Blogger Network if I would be interested in writing a sponsored post about the Purell 30-Day Challenge.  Anyone who knows me in real life, knows that I am a big believer in hand sanitizer.  I feel like it is one of those inventions like the internet. How did I live life without it? I keep it everywhere because there is not always a sink with soap nearby when you need it.  When soap and water are not available, I use an alcohol-based hand sanitizer that contains at least 60% alcohol.  As you've probably heard, proper hand hygiene is one of the best things you can do to avoid getting sick.

This time of year, your family is probably on the go like mine.  Do you have any road trips planned?  My family enjoys RV'ing.  We began with a pop-up camper and recently upgraded up to a motor home.  I always pack a bottle or two of Purell when we go camping.  It comes in hand when I'm grilling and is really useful when we are fishing.

If you are a Purell fan like me, you are in luck.  On July 14th, Purell is beginning a 30-Day Challenge.  You and your family can win some fabulous prizes!
 You could win:
  • $100 VISA gift card. (8 weekly winners will receive this great prize.)

I thought I would give my followers a little jump start.  Decorating a bottle of Purell is one of the challenges.

Your classroom may be like most of mine - missing a sink.  I depended on hand sanitizer to help keep my students healthy.  I wrote a post about my Squirt Station. There was a study conducted by the makers of Purell, absenteeism caused by illness was 51% lower in classrooms that used Purell hand sanitizer regularly and implemented a hand hygiene educational program versus classrooms that did not.  My parents had noticed the difference in the health of their child after I began the Squirt Station which was using hand sanitizer.  Parents sent happy notes to me and my principal.

I'm sure you've seen the pins on Pinterest of bottles of hand sanitizer that say Boy and Girl.  Some teachers have the students put the bottle on their desk when they leave the room.  I made two different sets of boy-girl signs that you can choose from.  Print these off, attach them to a couple of bottles of Purell, decorate the bottle, snap a picture, and enter the challenge.  I would love for one of my followers to win one of these great prizes.  The $100 VISA gift card would be helpful for all of your Back to School shopping!

Be sure and tell all of your teacher friends about this, too!

I would love to hear if my follower enter and/or win.  Please leave me a comment below, on my FB, or send me an email.  Thanks!
