Martin Luther King Resource

I just updated my Martin Luther King Jr. Sentence Shuffle center.  If you previously purchased this, you may go to "my purchases" to download the revised version for free.  This year I added a Morning Message packet to my January themed lessons.  Both of these packets tell facts about Martin's life.

Here is a sneak peek:

Students will review language arts skills and learn facts about Martin Luther King Jr. with the 5 morning messages included with this packet.  The answers are included so you can set this up as a self-checking writing center, too.

Students will sort and stack the word cards on this page.  There is a colorful and black and white version.

Students will take one card out of each stack to form a sentence.  Sentence can be real or nonsense.  If they have time, they can shuffle the cards and do it again.

After reading sentences, students will choose one of the writing pages above to record some of the sentences that they read.
